Patronage Impoverishes America Via Corrupt Conflicts Of Interest-A Harsha Sankar Letter

Dear Citizen, September 2010

The one thing that is plunging Americans into third world status is the constant corrupt conflicts of interests that continue due to attorneys in office.

Governor McDonnell awards fellow attorney(John Rocovich) and significant campaign contributor($47000.00) with positions on a educational regulatory agency and also on an university board that also funds an institution in which he chairs.

As free enterprise is dying,it is common for tax attorneys to utilize client estate's resources to fund non-profits that award them influence. In dictatorial society, tyranny is often confused with "necessary service". In an interview years ago,Fidel Castro refused to step down.He genuinely believed his abdication from current positions would be perceived as treasonous. These cronyistic and sociopathic elitist features apply to America now. The more power brokers attach themselves to institutions, without risk or stake and without value orwealth creation, the more importance they attach to themselves.

This patronage results in the following. Unemployment is at shockingly high levels.Foreclosures and personal bankruptcies set new all-time records. Businesses are being shut down constantly, 40 million Americans are on food stamps, and the U.S. government piles up debt at blinding speed.

Ending graft means establishing checks and balances. Attorneys should have no role in government.

Very Truly Yours,
