Total Surveillance State, Soon A Reality, Plays Into Hands Of Attorneys-By Harsha Sankar

As Americans continue to wallow in ignorance and self-absorption, America slides
into the deeper abyss of police state status.


Both houses of Congress have passed the Real ID bill with no debate and outcry. It replaces your current license and Social Security card. In these unnecessarily tense and uncivil times that wreaks with at times justifiable paranoia, citizens will now be much more traceable and watchable since they will be required by law to always carry this super-deluxe computerized ID card. In addition, the card's design plan includes multiple openings for the Homeland Security Department to add any features they deem necessary, with or without an individual's knowledge or consent. This card will contain sensitive information in a digitized format such as the guns,
airplane tickets, and medicine purchased.


The new law will require ,in May 2008, everyone to hand over four types of documentation to renew their driver's license, such as a photo ID, a birth certificate copy(the actual document is always in possession of the Department of Commerce(this means we are chattel of the State), a mandated Social Security Card, and something that validates a home address, such as a phone bill. DMV employees will then have to verify these documents against giant federal databases and store all this in those teeming databases.


What's next on the horizon? Computer (RFID) microchip and digital fingerprint in all likelihood. Real ID takes America one step closer to a total surveillance state, where everyone is stamped, watchable and traceable. Cameras on the street corners, in neighborhoods and apartment complexes, and even in the sky are just few of the indications of this. Crimewatcher programs, which creates collaborative snitches more than it prevents violent crime, is another strong indication of this Orwellian scenario.

The Internet is being scoured and scrutinized, phone tapping has increased at an alarming rate, and unLawful property seizure without due process has continued to escalate. Citibank alone monitors the activities of 40,000 of its clients on behalf of the FEDS. In 1995, there were 1000 federal crimes. Ten years later there are 4000. While this number has quadrupled, millions of illegals are flooding the U.S.

It doesn't matter how many Border Patrol agents exist. The attraction for illegals is they are given a notice to appear for a deportation hearing which allows them to come into the country. Then the bar association courts make law by deciding the fate of the perpetrator. This means big bucks for "immigration" attorneys.However, this means chaos for everyone else. What these processes have produced is the mushrooming of federal prosecutorial staffs, US attorneys budgets, the power and costs of the US Department of Justice and the welfare of the bureaucrats and lawyers who feast at the taxpayers' trough.

The united states of Europe (the European Union) are succeeding in reducing their people to vassal status. Apparently the United States of America is experiencing the same level of success. The origins of this tyrannical phenomenon is takeover of society. Regrettably,they have achieved this without firing a shot. If federal data mining is not sufficiently bad, there is a private entity named SmartJury that has a special clientele, lawyers. SmartJury promises to provide trial lawyers with real -time access to public record information on potential jurors. Within seconds of
entering potential jurors, an attorney will receive reports including information such as: Criminal Records; Political Party Affiliations; Bankruptcies; Corporate Affiliations; Real Property Ownership (including value); Motor Vehicle Registrations; Web Site Domain Names; and 2000 Census Information (including median household income, average age, average years of education, and median home value).


Americans have been living in the virtual fantasy matrix for too long.

It's time we take the blue pill and embrace hard logical reality.
