The Basic Forms Of Tyranny-Part Eight (Power Broker Tyranny-Session Nine)
Public Power Broker Tyranny-
As stated in the previous post, the members of each federal and state legislative house nominates and then chooses its own members to be officials. Furthermore they do it along political party lines. This is neither mandated in the American Constitution nor is it consistent with the principles of Representative governance.
Members of each house nominating and choosing its own members is a blatant conflict of interest because those officials will serve their legislative house before they serve the People. In addition since political parties are private entities as they are often unions comprised of both public officials (officeholders and bureaucratic officials) and private individuals, they should not have involvement in how these legislative house officials are chosen.
One federal or state legislative house should field for the other federal or state legislative house respectively five nominees for Chief Legislation Proposer, ten nominees for Assistant Legislation Proposer, and five nominees for Chief Legislation Promoter. The list of these nominated candidates is provided from one state or federal legislative house to the other respective state or federal legislative house.
