The Choosing Of Officers In The House Of Representatives-

The Choosing Of Officers In The House Of Representatives-

Currently party leaders and whips of the United States House of Representatives, also known as floor leaders, are elected by their respective political parties in a closed-door caucus by secret ballot.

This has to change. First of all, political parties are private entities and private influence must not be allowed in governance. Secondly, no officer in the House Of Representatives must be its member. Finally, transparency is a must so the entire selection process must be open to the public.

The only two officers that are needed in that lower federal house are its Speaker and Assistant Speaker.

Cliff Notes Version: Transparency is an absolute must as secrecy must be rooted out.

Private influence over governance must be kept to a minimum, if not eliminated.

The only two officers needed in the lower federal house are the Speaker and Assistant Speaker. Both must be non-participants in any branch of government.
