Commentary On Elections-Part Fifty-Four

An candidate for elector, with proposed changes in accordance to the US Constitution, can tell his/her electorate that he/she will cast a ballot for one head executive candidate. After he/she is elected as elector, he/she can then cast a ballot for another head executive candidate. In other words, a candidate for elector can tell prospective voters that he/she will choose a head executive candidate of a one specific politic persuasion (i.e. liberal). After he/she is elected as elector, he/she can then cast a ballot for another head executive candidate of another political persuasion (i.e. conservative).

That is why the use of electors should be re-established and maintained. The content of the previous paragraph are reasons why the electorate has to do proper research on the candidates for elector to make certain that a specific candidate for elector has the integrity to make the proper choice for head executive. Electors have to be chosen for the right reasons and only an informed electorate who does research on candidates for electors can assure this will be the case.
In addition to the preceding, public balloting is also a must so that voting for a candidate for elector is an educated choice. Too often the electorate fail to make informed decisions in the casting of ballots. This must change so that the best people govern based on objective and meritorious standards.
