Commentary On Elections-Part Twenty

The following depicts the need for elected federal lower house lawmakers to be chosen by the people via electoral voting. All willing eligible voters cast their ballots for their choice of federal most populous house lawmaker. The locality (city or county) of each voter then casts its assigned electoral vote(s) for the candidate who has the most amount of popular voters.

In the elections of the members of the U.S. House Of Representatives, each locality (county or city) in a congressional district is allotted electoral vote(s) as per its population. One electoral vote should be assigned to a locality for every 10,000 in population. The number of electoral votes should equal the nearest higher number of the multiple of 10,000 as its numeric value based on a locality's population. In plain terms if a locality's population is 13,000, then that locality is assigned two electoral votes since the nearest higher number of the multiple 10,000 of that locality's population matches 20,000.
