Permanent Solutions to the Israel-Palestine Quagmire: Part Five
When my parents came to the U.S.A from India, they were not expelled from India. They voluntarily left for the "Land Of Opportunity".
Who is to say that the Jews who left North Africa and the Middle East did not leave for Israel after 1948 for the same reasons? While a "Jewish State" may had enticed the governments in predominantly Arab and/or Muslim nations to pressure its Jewish people to leave, it must be noted that Israel was known for the potential of developing itself as an advanced economic and industrialized nation. Therefore most of the Jews in North Africa and the ME must had wanted to take advantage of Israel's prosperity.
The preceding is why the two state solution should not be implemented. Israeli Arabs may be pressured to relocate to the Palestine nation and West Bank Jews may be pressured to do the same to Israel. Only a one state secular nation will be permanently functional and viable.
