Permanent Solutions to the Israel-Palestine Quagmire: Part Three
People need to gather certain insights based on December data from the Palestinian Center For Policy & Survey
1. It must be understood that the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) has instituted a blockade around Gaza since 2007. So is it not understandable that a majority of Palestinians would see what Hamas did on October 7th as legitimate?
2. While most Gazans probably support Hamas' military actions against the IDF, they still would not want the autocratic Islamic Hamas entity to provide them long term governance. However in the West Bank where 2/3rds of Palestinians live, Hamas has a 75% approval rating. The people in the West Bank are appreciate of Hamas taking a stand against the Israeli occupiers.
3. Would Germans want a two-state solution in which Nazi Germany would be their neighboring nation? The answer to this question is a resounding no.
Since Pakistan became independent and then later became an Islamic Republic, there really has never been good relations between that nation and the secular Republic Of India. Territorial disputes and militant activities have this core issue at its foundation: the spreading of Islamic hegemony.
In lieu of the preceding, is it any wonder that nearly 2/3rds of all Palestinians reject the two state solution? They simply do not want the racist Zionist regime as its neighbor.
4. Since the foundation of the State Of Israel, there has never been peace. There instead has been uprooting, massacres, and apartheid conducted by the Zionist regime. So is it any wonder that as long as Zionism is in existence, most Palestinians truly believe peaceful solutions will not be allowed to bring about equity and viable governance.
It must be noted that the vast majority of Palestinian Arabs are not anti-semitic. They are instead anti-Zionist. Only a small percentage believe the existence of a Jewish state will ever cause harmony and functionality to reign. The vast majority believe and rightly so that this ethno-centric state must go in order for permanent resolution to be achieved.
