Russia, in the last 21 months of its direct military conflict against NATO in Ukraine, was accused of deliberately targeting Ukrainian civilians in order to spread terror. Russia has killed less civilians in those 21 months than Israel has in just 7 weeks. Yet the Western media hardly mentions the death toll of Gazan Palestinian civilians.

It must be cited that the militaries of Russia and NATO, manned mainly by Ukrainian soldiers, are two of the world's most powerful militaries. The fighting has been highly intense for nearly two years. In contrast, the Israeli Defense Force is fighting a paramilitary unit in Hamas. The direct fighting between these two forces has been sporadic at worst. Yet Israel managed to kill more irrelevant civilians in 49 days than Russia in 640 days. Yet the Israelis and Western media deny Gazan civilians are being targeted.
