VOTING SYSTEMS IN DIFFERENT DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC GOVERNMENT MODES- RANKED CHOICE VOTING (PART ONE )-

VOTING SYSTEMS IN DIFFERENT DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC GOVERNMENT MODES- RANKED CHOICE VOTING (PART ONE)

Imperial Democratic Government Mode- Ranked Choice Voting is not at all used in the mode. In this mode, it is plurality voting only. The candidate who gets the highest number of votes wins the election. This mode is highly simplistic.

Direct Democratic Government Mode- Complex Ranked Choice Voting is significantly implemented. This mode is inherently complicated and it can often allow a low first place vote-getting candidate to win the election.

Representative Democratic Government Mode- Ranked Choice Voting must be used so that 3rd Parties and Independents are respected and have a voice. However, its implementation must be simple and narrow. After all, top-tier candidates who receive the higher number of first place votes should not be penalized.

The genuine purpose of Ranked Choice Voting is allow voters to cast ballots for candidates that they genuinely prefer. In the Imperial Democratic Mode, this is not the case. In the direct democratic mode,
Ranked Choice Voting dilutes the meaningfulness of the first-place votes of all the voters so this is not the case as well.

In the Imperial Mode, voters will often not vote for 3rd Party and Independents because they do not want to waste their vote. In the Direct Democratic Mode, voting groups often politic and align themselves with other groups so that a specific candidate who received a low number of first-place votes wins the elections and becomes the officeholder. In both the previous modes, voters are discouraged from voting according to their preferences.
