VOTING SYSTEMS IN DIFFERENT DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC GOVERNMENT MODES- RANKED CHOICE VOTING (PART FIVE)
Imperial Democratic Government Mode- Major Party candidates are given strong preference. Minor Party candidates and Independents are marginalized into obscurity. In this mode, a few high-ranking political party elite, through the use of well-built mechanisms, decide who the candidates of the political parties will be and how they will be treated by the political system. This mode is common in most Presidential systems.
direct democratic government mode- Minor and Regional party candidates are given strong preference. Even if candidate(s) receive many more first-place votes than other candidate(s), that candidate(s) still are not free to occupy their contested office. There would be still much more power brokering that needs to be conducted before a victor is declared. The low and middle ranking rank and file party members are often active participants in this power brokering.
This practice is common in most Parliamentary Democratic systems.
