Representative Democratic Model- Electable Offices Part Three

Representative Democratic Model- Electable Offices Part Three

The fact that the President and Vice-President are on the same ticket is Imperial Democratic Mode. This means that the President chooses the Vice-President. The Vice-Presidency is not an electable office as it should be. This transfer too much authority to the Presidential Administration and to the ticket. It also erodes the independence of the office of VPOTUS.

In many states, assistants to the State Governor (Vice-Governor, President of the State Senate, Secretary of the State) are not elected. These officeholders are chosen either by the governor or the state legislature. Again, this choosing is based on the Imperial Democratic model. They should instead be chosen by the electors. These electors must be elected by direct voting from the electorate.

In many localities, the city mayor or county chairperson is chosen by the local legislature. This is again Imperial Democratic Mode. The city mayor or county chairperson should be chosen by electoral voting from the electorate.

Cliff Notes Version: The President and Vice-President are on the same ticket. This represents tyranny because it symbolizes too much concentration of power in one ticket and in one administration. They both need to run on separate tickets, with a different set of electors, and with a different region classification that each elector represents.

In many states, chief assistant to the governor are not elected. They are either chosen by the governor or state legislature. This is Imperial Democratic Mode. They should instead be chosen by the electors. These electors must be elected by direct voting from the electorate.

In many localities, the mayor or chairperson is chosen by the local legislature. This is again Imperial Democratic Mode. The mayor or chairperson should be chosen by electoral voting from the electorate.
