VOTING SYSTEMS IN DIFFERENT DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC GOVERNMENT MODES- RANKED CHOICE VOTING (PART FIVE)

Representative Democratic Government Mode- Independents are preferred in this mode. The Founding Fathers were wary of the political system being hijacked by political parties. They were always worried about what private influences over governance could do to the Republic and its principles.

Independents are the most preferred. An Independent does not have to answer to anyone other than to his or her constituents. Therefore, their allegiance would be totally to the public and certainly not to political party elites. There would be no power brokering.

Proper forums for an Independent to advocate their views to their electorate would be required. Otherwise, Independent(s) would be discarded into obsolescence.
