After the process of selection of federal legislative proposers or legislative promoters has taken place, the re-selected incumbent officeholders must then obtain more than 50% approval from the members of the legislative house in which they serve in order to retain their positions.

If the re-selected incumbent cannot procure majority support, the majority of members (quorum limits being met) of the other federal legislative house will choose these officeholders out of the Top Two vote-getting candidates from these positions.
