After the re-selection process of the Federal Speaker Of The House Of Representatives by the executive branch of government in each state, this incumbent SOTH must then obtain more than 50% approval from members of the legislative house in which he/she serves in order to retain his/her position as SOTH of the federal House Of Representatives.

If the incumbent cannot procure majority support, the majority of members (quorum limits being met) of the U.S. Senate will choose this officeholder out of the Top Two vote-getting candidates from the federal SOTH re-selection.
